Norton Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a top notch Cabernet Sauvignon from California. What I like about it is that it’s not trying to be anything it’s not. That might sound a bit silly but hear me out.

Norton Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon is simply a good quality full-bodied red wine. It’s ageing well and has retained beautiful blackberry and black plum notes. There’s hints of herbs and spice on the nose and lovely tannins that have softened slightly as the wine has aged in the bottle. It wasn’t aged in oak, so it’s retained a fruit forward profile.
