Dry Dragon is a non-alcoholic sparkling tea made by Real Drinks Co in Buckinghamshire. They make absolutely sensational drinks that are great alternatives to traditional wine. The whole ethos and approach to making these sparkling teas is very similar to winemaking in the sense that different styles of tea leaf can create different characteristics in the resulting drink. This is much like how different styles of wine can be determined by the difference in grape varieties used.
These drinks are meant to be consumed in the same settings as you would a wine. This means they’re great with food.
WHAT DOES DRY DRAGON SPARKLING TEA TASTE LIKE?
Well, it is made from pan-fired Dragonwell Green Tea Leaves and it’s Zesty and light bodied. A fragrant hit of lemon meringue on the nose, with passion fruit and lychee. It’s fresh on the palate with flavours of sweet lemons and a dry finish
FOOD PAIRING:
I’d pair this with grilled king prawns that have been coated in garlic, ginger and siracha
