Real Royal Flush Sparkling Tea

Royal Flush is a non-alcoholic sparkling tea made by Real Drinks Co in Buckinghamshire. They make absolutely sensational drinks that are great alternatives to traditional wine. The whole ethos and approach to making these sparkling teas is very similar to winemaking in the sense that different styles of tea leaf can create different characteristics in the resulting drink. This is much like how different styles of wine can be determined by the difference in grape varieties used.

These drinks are meant to be consumed in the same settings as you would a wine. This means they’re great with food.

WHAT DOES ROYAL FLUSH SPARKLING TEA TASTE LIKE?

Well, it is made from Darjeeling tea leaves and is fruit forward and medium bodied. It’s very fragrant on the nose with notes of grape and stone fruits. It’s got amazing acidity on the palate with flavours of white peach while remaining dry.

FOOD PAIRING:

I’d pair this with a wonderful baked lemon sole that’s had a lovely bit of butter drizzled on it.
