The Vinitaly Box

Over the last couple of years, I’ve been invited to Vinitaly. This is the biggest wine exhibition in Italy and a great opportunity to meet a lot of producers in a short space of time.

The last two years has seen a real progression with the amount of Italian wineries we work with and an increase in the amount of Italian wines we stock. This will only continue to develop in the coming years.

With that, I thought it would be a good idea to showcase some of our favourite wines from the last couple of years of attending Vinitaly. This is The Vinitaly Box

Basically, this has been put together to highlight the quality and variety in the wine styles coming from Italy’s varied landscape. We also wanted to show some lesser-known indigenous grapes to Italy, grapes that you might not necessarily consider to be grown in Italy and also we wanted to show how good some of the widely planted grapes (Pinot Grigio) can be.
