Made from grapes grown in the Western Cape of South Africa with a cooling ocean breeze, this crisp Sauvignon Blanc displays aromas of passion fruit and gooseberry, tropical fruit flavours with a hint of white peach and a natural acidity. It’s not quite as aromatic as Marlborough, but it’s along the same lines stylistically. So if you like Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc then give South African Sauvignon Blanc a try!
This is wine with a conscience too! 5p from every bottle sold by my importer goes to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation charity. So when you buy from me, it means I need to buy more and more money gets donated to helping preserve the future of whales and dolphins.
Delicious on its own or pairs well with warm goats cheese salad or asparagus risotto. We personally love Waipapa Bay Sauvignon Blanc with asparagus risotto. It’s one of the few grapes that will pair with asparagus.
