This Vinho Verde Rosé is the perfect bottle for enjoying on the back garden. I say this from experience too. A few weeks ago I was drinking this with two old friends. I had my feet in their son’s paddling pool and the sun beating down on us. It was perfect.
Vinho Verde is known for being light, refreshing, zippy and citrussy. Vinho Verde Rosé has all of that but the brief contact the juice had with black grape skins just gives it subtle notes of strawberry and red cherry. At 10% alcohol, this is slightly off-dry which just makes it a joy to drink.
Enjoy this in the sun with a mixed berry salad. It won’t disappoint!
