Camarada Malbec is a rich and juicy red. It’s also wine with a conscience! It was bottled using only clean and renewable energy. So you can drink this wine and know that it didn’t ‘cost the earth’ (in more ways than one).
Camarada Malbec has all the classic characteristics of good new-world Malbec. Hailing from Lujan de Cayo, Mendoza and made from Malbec grapes that were planted at altitudes of 960m above sea level. After fermentation, 50% of the wine spent three months in oak barrels. This has added wonderful texture and elegance to the wine.
Expect rich blackberry and blueberry flavours, complimented by hints of dark chocolate, vanilla and spice.
Food pairing: It may be a cliché but this big red will go very well with a medium-rare sirloin steak, served with peppercorn sauce.
