Odd Lot Pinot Noir is a wine produced with a conscience. The Scheid family understand the need for sustainability and everything on site is powered by a wind turbine. Bottling is done using 100% clean energy.
Pinot Noir can be temperamental. The book/film sideways captures the essence of Pinot Noir in Miles’ character. Complicated, temperamental, volatile yet brilliant (If you haven’t seen sideways then do yourself a favour).
Anyway, this is a great sustainable Pinot Noir from Monterrey. It’s been aged in oak, it’s got classic red cherry aromas. It’s light and has racing acidity. It is literally everything you want from a sustainable Pinot Noir, without paying Burgundy prices.
