This Bacchus is no exception. I was hesitant at first because I thought the vintage (2018) may be too old for the style of wine, but I am happy to say I was wrong.
WHAT IS BACCHUS?
Bacchus is becoming England’s signature grape. It grows well in cool climates and produces wonderfully fresh and aromatic wines. Albourne Estate 2018 Bacchus is a testament to this.
HOW DOES ALBOURNE ESTATE 2018 BACCHUS TASTE?
Expect wonderful floral notes like elderflower and lemongrass, intertwined with hints of citrus. It boasts beautiful acidity, which has helped it stay fresh with age.
FOOD PAIRING
This is definitely a salad kind of wine, but it can stand up to slightly stronger flavours, so a chicken caeser salad would go great
