Miopasso Grillo

WHAT IS GRILLO?
 
Sicilian white grape variety most famous for its role in fortified Marsala wines. It is still widely planted on the island despite Marsala's fall from fashion and is now used most commonly in a variety of still white wines, both varietal and blended.
 
TASTING NOTES:
 
This wine is bright and floral, with a lovely abundance of fruit on the palate. The intense Sicilian sun helps the grapes ripen fully so expect lovely acidity and beautiful orchard fruit notes, complimented by lovely peach hints.
