Doña Paula Beyond Shadows Malbec

Beyond Shadows is a fresh take on Malbec from Doña Paula, one of Mendoza's best-known producers. The winery began its vineyard holdings in Luján de Cuyo in 1997 and has since expanded across several high-altitude sites in Mendoza, focusing on expressing the character of each terroir. This wine is made in concrete tanks before spending six months in medium-toast French oak, giving it a lovely balance between ripe fruit and subtle oak spice.

TASTING NOTES:

Deep, youthful and full of character, the wine has lifted aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and violet. The palate is smooth and generous, with juicy dark fruit wrapped in supple tannins and gentle French oak adding hints of spice and warmth. Fresh acidity keeps everything lively, leading to a rounded, satisfying finish that makes this a particularly easy-drinking Malbec.
