Santa Luz Gran Reserva Carmenère

Santa Luz Gran Reserva Carmenère comes from Viña Luis Felipe Edwards, one of Chile's established family-owned wine producers. The Santa Luz range takes its name from the sunlight that shines across the vineyards and the founder's youngest daughter, Luz Edwards. This Gran Reserva comes from Chile's Colchagua Valley, an area particularly well suited to Carmenère, where warm days and cooler nights help develop ripe fruit while retaining freshness.

TASTING NOTES:

Intense aromas of ripe blueberry and damson are joined by hints of chocolate, spice and white pepper. The palate is full and smooth, with juicy dark fruit balanced by fresh acidity and gentle tannins, while subtle oak adds warmth and depth. A spicy, rounded finish gives this Carmenère plenty of character without losing its easy-drinking appeal.
