Zi Ronda Amarone della Valpolicella

Amarone is one of the most famous wines of the Veneto, and ZiRonda is a great example of the style. Made from grapes that are dried before fermentation using the traditional Appassimento method, the process concentrates the fruit and gives Amarone its trademark richness and intensity. ZiRonda is made from the classic Valpolicella blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara.
 
TASTING NOTES:
 
Deep, rich and full of character. The drying of the grapes gives this wine generous flavours of warm red fruits, plum and black cherry, alongside lovely notes of baking spice. The palate is firm but generous, with a beautifully velvety texture and a rich, spiced fruit-cake finish. This is definitely one for when you want a big glass of red.
