Seegut Lentsch Grauburgunder

Seegut Lentsch Grauburgunder comes from the Lentsch family winery in Podersdorf, on the eastern shore of Austria's Lake Neusiedl. Now run by brothers Markus and Thomas Lentsch, the family has been making wine for three generations, with their vineyards shaped by the distinctive combination of lake, sunshine, wind and varied soils found around the Neusiedlersee.

TASTING NOTES:

This fresh and expressive Grauburgunder - better known as Pinot Gris - has inviting aromas of ripe pear, mandarin, mango and nectarine, with a subtle floral character. The palate is juicy and nicely textured, combining ripe orchard fruit with gentle acidity and a touch of spice, before finishing clean and rounded. A beautifully approachable Austrian white with plenty of character.
