Terres Secretes Blanc de Blancs Cremant de Bourgogne
Terres Secretes Cremant de Bourgogne is wonderfully crisp, with notes of white flowers, lemon zest, pear and hints of peach. It’s wonderfully effervescent and the bubbles dance on your tongue, making your mouth water.
The name of this wine may be a bit long-winded, so let me break it down:
Terres Secretes = Name of the winery
Cremant = The name for traditional method sparkling wines, made in France but not in Champagne
de Bourgogne = The region. In this case, it's from Bourgogne/Burgundy
Simple, no?
Cremant is a wonderful alternative to Champagne, if you don't want to spend a fortune but still have the qualities of a Champagne-style wine. The difference is that Champagnes tend to be aged for a minimum of fifteen months, with 12 on lees. Normally Cremant is aged on average for nine months on lees.
With all this in mind, Cremant tends to be slightly more fruit-forward than Champagne, and is backed up by secondary notes of biscuit, bread and other savoury notes. Terres Secretes Cremant de Bourgogne is wonderfully crisp, with notes of white flowers, lemon zest, pear and hints of peach. It's wonderfully effervescent and the bubbles dance on your tongue, making your mouth water.

FOOD PAIRING:
The wonderful acidity in Terres Secretes Cremant de Bourgogne makes it a perfect accompaniment for fried food. This would go extremely well with fried courgette flower with goats cheese. Trust me.
