Florent Rouve Face a'Lest Cotes du Jura
This is simply one of my favourite wines. I know I say this often, but it genuinely is.
Florent Rouve is a magnificent winemaker who splits his time between Jura and Burgundy. He makes exceptional wines in both areas. His wines just ooze elegance, complexity and fresh fruit.
I had the pleasure to finally meet him at a recent tasting and his personality was just as lovely as his wines.
TASTING NOTES:
The Face a'Lest Chardonnay is wonderful. New French oak beautifully integrates with with fresh hints of apple and citrus. The wine is just beautiful, and I make no apologies for being biased about it.

FOOD PAIRING:
The complexity of this wine and the wonderful weighty body makes it perfect for food pairing. I would go quite simple with this. Pair Florent Rouve Face a L'est Cotes du Jura with a simple creamy chicken and mushroom pasta dish. Season it with thyme and tarragon and thank me later.
