Botas de Barro Rueda
Botas de Barro (literal translation ‘Dirty Boots’) is a wonderful brand from Spanish Palate – A great company producing wonderful wines from all over Spain. For those customers based in South Yorkshire, you’ll be interested to find out that the founder of Spanish Palate is called Nicola Thornton and she is originally from Wickersley, Rotherham!
TASTING NOTES:
Expect a crisp, fresh and extremely aromatic dry white that expresses all the character and elegance of the Rueda region. This is a young wine, with a light straw colour and slight green hints. On the palate, it is intense, and bright with good well balanced acidity. There’s no oak in this wine, which helps it retain it’s pure varietal fruity identity.
