Paololeo Negroamaro

Negroamaro is not for the faint hearted. This wine will punch you in the face (metaphorically speaking of course).
 
Paololeo Negroamaro is produced in Salento, right on the heel of Italy. Here, you’ll find baking temperatures and lots of full-bodied red wine. Directly translated as ‘Black & Bitter’, it lives up to its name.
 
TASTING NOTES:
 
Expect a wonderfully deep-coloured red wine with rich tannins and notes of black pepper, anise and black plum. The wine remains balanced though, with enough acidity to make it a wonderful drop.
