Ventisquero Grey Glacier Cabernet Sauvignon

Ventisquero Grey Glacier Cabernet Sauvignon is a serious wine. We absolutely love it, and for good reason.
 
This is a fabulous and extremely well made Cabernet Sauvignon, that's been expertly crafted by my friend Felipe (head winemaker at Ventisquero). It's a single vineyard wine, which means the grapes were picked from one plot rather than a number of different plantings. The importance of this means that the conditions were good enough to create a perfect balance/ripeness in the grapes.
 
TASTING NOTES:
 
Ventisquero Grey Glacier Cabernet Sauvignon is deep red in colour. It's packed full of red and black fruits such as strawberries, raspberries and cassis. These are mixed with aromas of black pepper, some moist soil and tobacco.
 
It's a big wine, but it's elegant and smooth. It's incredibly balanced,  with good acidity that increases the complexity. Tannins present and soft at the same time, ending with a prolonged finish.
