Product Info
In English Dea Del Mare means 'Goddess of The Sea', and this wine pays tribute to the fact that Sicily benefits from wonderful influences from the Mediterranean Sea.
Catarratto is prevalent in Sicilian wine-making, often used in the production of Marsala fortified wines, and is commonly used as a blending partner in still wines from the region. Pinot Grigio isn't often seen in Sicily and is more likely to be found in Northern Italy, however it can do really well in the wonderful Mediterranean climate of Sicily.
This wine is wonderfully crisp, bone-dry and has excellent notes of apple, pear, grapefruit and lemon. These fruit flavours are complimented by a hint of minerality.
Pair this wine with Carbonara, it won't disappoint.
