WHO ARE LIGHTFOOT & WOLFVILLE?
 
Lightfoot & Wolfville are a family-owned winery, based in the town of Wolfville in the Gaspereau Valley. They’re one of the only wineries in the region that practice biodynamic farming and all their wines are certified organic at the very least.
 
WHAT'S EXCITING ABOUT LIGHTFOOT & WOLFVILLE FLORA?
 
Flora is a blend of select aromatic white varieties that have proven to be a natural match for Nova Scotia's ocean influenced terroir and cool climate. It's a Germanic-inspired white blend that displays the signature perfumed, fragrant aromatics, vibrancy and freshness of the region. Fermentation takes place in 100% stainless steel to preserve primary fruit flavours and aromatic purity.
 
TASTING NOTES:
 
Light gold in the glass with subtle green flecks. On the nose, luscious, ripe fruit notes - yellow plum and honeydew melon - integrate with suggestions of chamomile and crystallized ginger. Light in body, yet moderately round, and slightly off-dry, balanced by refreshing cool climate acidity.
