Royal Oporto Dry White Port

Back in September 2023, I had the pleasure of meeting a man called Thiago. Thiago is a member of the Real Companhia Velha family. This family produce Royal Oporto, an absolutely stunning range of Ports. While my friend and I spoke to Thiago, we happily made our way through his family's range of fortified wines. They were wonderful.
 
TASTING NOTES:
 
Royal Oporto Extra Dry White Port is bright and refreshing. There's a wonderful burst of floral notes and tropical fruits on the nose that carry onto the palate. The Port was aged in wood barrels, which gives the texture a nice rounded feel to it.
 
All in all, it's a very balanced drop that goes very well on its own or with tonic.
